To honor the contributions of laboratory animals to life sciences research, as well as agriculture, aerospace, and other fields, and to promote respect, humane treatment, and scientifically sound animal experimentation, November 29 was officially designated as “Asia Laboratory Animal Day” at the Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Science Associations (AFLAS) Council meeting held in September 2024.
On the momentous first “Asia Laboratory Animal Day”, TriApex Group carried out the restoration of the Monument to the Unsung Heroes — Laboratory Animals.
In addition, TriApex Group hosted the “Seminar on Laboratory Animal Welfare and Experimental Data”, reflecting its corporate mission of focusing on scientific evaluation and supporting innovation and transformation. During the discussion session following the presentations, attendees engaged in in-depth exchanges on the topics presented, sharing perspectives from their respective professional fields and practical experiences. These discussions explored how to balance scientific research with the protection of animal rights, laying a stronger foundation for collaborative research and fostering a positive atmosphere for improving laboratory animal welfare.
